The Saudi Stock Exchange's main index ended trading higher here today, gaining 56.39 points to close, at 8,931.29 points. Total value of the trading reported was SR10 billion, while the toll of shares traded was more than 330 million, divided into over 420,000 deals. While the stocks of 73 companies ended the trading higher, 114 companies' shares slumped. Subsequently, the decliners outnumbered the advancers. On the other hand, the spread between the advancers and decliners stocks ranged from 05.44% to 04.28%. For its part, the Saudi Parallel Equity Market Index (NOMU) or the secondary market, ended the day lower, losing 85.25 points to close, at 25,739.30 points, with a valuation of SR62 million and an overall tally of 410,000 stocks traded and divided into as many as 1,452 deals.
