The Saudi Stock Exchange's main index ended trading higher here today, gaining 141.77 points to close, at 8,680.45 points. The total value of the trading reported was SR10.8 billion, while the toll of shares traded was more than 345 million, divided into over 400,000 deals. While the stocks of 194 companies ended the trading higher, only 2 companies' shares slumped. Thus, the advancers outnumbered the decliners. On the other hand, the spread between the advancers and decliners stocks ranged from 10.00% to 01.27%. For its part, the Saudi Parallel Equity Market Index (NOMU) ended the day higher, gaining 1,034.23 points, to close, at 21,698.23 points. Valuation, at NOMU, was SR43 million, with an overall tally of more than 410,000 stocks traded and divided into as many as 1,073 deals.
