The Saudi Stock Exchange's main index ended trading higher here today, gaining 31.38 points to close, at 8,746.76 points. The total value of the trading reported was SR8.6 billion, while the toll of shares traded was more than 280 million, divided into over 370,000 deals. While the stocks of 110 companies ended the trading higher, 79 companies' shares slumped. Thus, the advancers outnumbered the decliners. On the other hand, the spread between the advancers and decliners stocks ranged from 09.87% to 03.54%. For its part, the Saudi Parallel Equity Market Index (NOMU) ended the day higher, too, gaining 1,378.94 points, to close, at 25,728.11 points. Valuation, at NOMU, was SR43 million, with an overall tally of more than 730,000 stocks traded and divided into as many as 1,069 deals.
