The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has recommended several tips for safe frying, emphasizing the importance of removing food residues from the oil before frying and not leaving the food unattended on the stove before it starts to produce fumes. The SFDA also advised placing the food to be fried gently into the hot oil and gradually heating the oil before frying. They cautioned against using the oil more than twice and leaving it unattended on the stove. Proper ventilation is crucial, and the frying area and its surroundings should be free of flammable materials before frying. The SFDA also warned that reusing frying oil repeatedly can cause it to change and produce harmful substances, so consuming too many fried foods or preparing them improperly could be detrimental to one's health.
