Planas JEDDAH — Gerry Manadanas and Dariel Loquias made 697 and 690, respectively, to lead Pin Slasher over Petromin Express and reinstall the defending champion on top of the overall standings at the end of the 23rd session of the FEDBG-FMBL 12th Conference at the Bowling City here. Manadanas started bolstering Bulls with his 265 explosion. With 235 and 233 from TC Roger Daquioag and Loquias and 621 from Jay Bengco, Carling Constantino and May Lourdes, Pin Slasher recorded 1,354 against 1,104 of the Hawks. Rey Beltran cotributed 211. Paolo Allego and Jeff San Pedro awakened Petromin with 221 and 208 for a better contention of 1,087 with also contributions from Rolly Vistal, Jerry Carredo, Imelda Sayago and Beltran only to be more frustrated at 1,184-1,175 on another joint 213 and 229 forces of Mandanas and Loquias. With Beltran resuming his reinforcement role (214) in threesome with Allego and Carredo combining for 612, Mandanas, Loquias and Lourdes squarely matched them with 661 to complete Pin Slasher rout of Petromin Express at 3,756-3,394. The Bulls won another Team of the Week honor, including their 1,218-1,115 endgame victory. Mandanas garnered the Bowler of the Week award on his 697 from scratch of 673 built from games of 257, 205 and 211. Beltran greatly defended Petromin with 613. Pin Slasher led the league with computed points of 532 with Petromin sliding to second with 526. In other matches, Ekis-3 fortified its No. 5 position with its 16-4 record against Micah's Pride. Ekis won Game 1 at 1,091-1,056, while Tigers succeeded in Game 2 at 1,126-1,111. Computing seven marks disadvantage including third-game handicap, Micah's ace Oca Bernabe blasted a 220 hoping to liven up teammates. But as other Tigers hardly meet their averages Bacero and Sol Cuenca did their respective shelling at 200 and 236 for Ekis to slow down Micah's Pride at 3,366-3,212. Despite this setback Micah's kept third position with 473.5 points, while Ekis braced fifth spot with 453.5 points. Evelyn Santoc garnered the Lady Bowler of the Week honor when she led her team with 616 handicapped series which turned out instrumental for Lance & 3rdy in edging Shawly Bowlers in overall aggregate signed at 3,493-3,485. Despite this, Shawly Bowlers outpointed Lance & 3rdy at 11-9 with Arnel Digap leading the binge on scratch at 632 from games of 235, 223 and 174. With help of TC Arnel Bautista, Edison Arena, Sally Sa?osa, Cloyd Ope?a and Nestor Sa?osa Shawly Bowlers swept the scratch sets at 3,128-2,941. Backed up greatly by Ver Jasa (591) and Rene Punzalan (590), Evelyn posted games of 240, 201 and 175 for the session's best lady bowler reputation. Other winners were: X-Alley humbled Ball Care Mongoose at 18-2, Fire Fox outpointed Royal Strikers (16-4), Pin Rockers wallopped undermanned Fed Extreme (17-3) and unopposed D'Mountaineers gained 16 points.
