Japanese shares climbed Tuesday led by technology issues following overnight rallies on Wall Street. The benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average added 21.02 points, or 0.23 per cent, to 9,107.43. The broader-based Topix index was up 1.94 points, or 0.25 per cent, at 779.06. Tokyo stocks opened higher, with the Nikkei rising by as much as 0.7 per cent on opening, according to a report of the German Press Agency "DPA".
