Presided over by its chairman Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Asheikh, the Shoura Council held here today its 51st ordinary session. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Council"s Secretary General Dr. Mohammed Al Ghamdi said that the council approved by majority vote the draft Saudi-Egyptian military cooperation memorandum proposed by the Committee for Security Affairs. He added that the council also took a majority vote in favor of the proposed understanding memorandum on coordination and consultation between the Saudi Foreign Ministry and its Qatari counterpart. The council also approved the draft agreement between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan concerning dual taxation and tax avoidance proposed by the Committee for Financial Affairs. Al Ghamdi added that the council also took a majority vote in favor of the report on outer space proposed by the Committee for Scientific Research. -- SPA
