Presided over by its Chairman Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Asheikh, the Shoura Council held today its 19th session. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Council's Secretary General Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Ghamdi said that the Council completed discussions of the report proposed by the Committee for Learning Affairs and Scientific Research. The Council agreed that it be held for further discussions during its next session. He added that the Council approved by majority vote the Apiculture Draft proposed by the Committee for Water, Facilities and Public Services. Dr. Al Ghamdi said that the Council also approved by majority vote the annual report of the Ministry of Transport for the fiscal year 1427/1428H urging the immediate application of Phrase )1) of the Council's resolution No. (37/43) which recommended that the Ministry swiftly pursue the National Strategy for Transport on roads, rails, sea and air lines as well as ports and airports etc. --More
