Presided over by its Chairman Dr. Abdullah Al Asheikh, the Shoura Council held today its 36th ordinary session. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Council's Secretary General Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Ghamdi said that the Council approved by majority vote the draft regulation of the National Commission for Academic Evaluation. Dr. Al Ghamdi added that the Council also approved by majority vote the report proposed by the Committee for Transport and Communication and Technology Information regarding the draft cooperation agreement between the Kingdom and the Republic of Turkey in the field of marine transport. The council also discussed a report proposed by the Committee for Foreign Affairs on the re-viewing of UN anti-corruption agreement. The council recommended that it be held for further discussion during its next session.
