Saudi Diabetes and Endocrine Association (SDEA) will hold on Wednesday its second symposium themed "SDEA Diabetes Mellitus Update 2009" at Carlton Al Moaibed Hotel in Al Khobar. During the one-day conference, a number of distinguished consultants endocrinologists, dietitians and diabetes educators will discuss all aspects of diabetes mellitus and its complications. The most recent advances in the diagnosis, treatment, and diabetic patient care will also be discussed at the Symposium. Its lectures will focus on insulin therapy; oral antidiabetics agents; acute and chronic complications of diabetes, strategies for diabetes prevention and the newly developing incretins' mimetics. Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) has accredited (7) CME hours for physicians and other health care professionals who attend the Symposium's deliberations.
