The Saudi Diabetes and Endocrine Association (SDEA) will hold on Thursday its First Symposium on Chronic Diabetes Complication at Hotel Carlton Almoaibed in Khobar. Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Melhem explained that the costs of treating diabetes is due to complications affecting various organs of the body as diabetes is the leading cause of blindness, and chronic kidney failure and that the complications of the heart disease is considered the primary cause of death for these patients. Meanwhile, Dr. Jaafar Alghllaf, Coordinator of SDEA Scientific activities said the Symposium is accredited with 7 CME from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
