Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAA) has recently increased its flights to Tunisia. With this increase, the number of flights to Tunisia rises to three in addition to one extra flight in the last two weeks of next month (August). "This has been done to lessen the prospective pressure at the end of summer holidays," said SAA's regional Director for Tunisia, Libya and Algiers Maher Abdulaziz Shukri. In a statement to SPA, Shukri said that 15,000 pilgrims will be transported during Umrah season through 45 flights from Tunisia to Saudi Arabia, pointing out that SAA transported last April month 5,500 pilgrims while it transported 3,400 pilgrims during the same month last year. He added that fifteen representatives of Saudi travel and tourism companies came to Tunisia last week to have an idea of tourism regions.
