Madinah, Feb 18, SPA -- Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAA) has started transporting pilgrims to Home-Countries through its planned 445 return- flights. Under this program, which started since the second week of Dhu Hijah Islamic month and is scheduled to conclude on 16/12/1426 Ah, corresponding to 25/02/2005, SAA will transport a total of 155,000 pilgrims back home. The Director of SAA's office in Al-Madinah, Hani Mokhtar, said that the number of returnees reached 116,000 on 373 flights until last Wednesday. He added that SAA carried more than 171,000 pilgrims on 585 flights during the arrival season which is 16,000 more than the planned figure of 155,000 and 29 flights more than the total planned flights numbering 556. It is worth mentioning that SAA helped foreign airlines in current Hajj season and supported 233 flights so far.
