The Saudi Stock Exchange's main index ended trading lower here today, losing 54.12 points to close, at 8,648.43 points. The total value of the trading reported was SR8.9 billion, while the toll of shares traded was more than 215 million, divided into over 365,000 deals. While the stocks of 39 companies ended the trading higher, 150 companies' shares slumped. Subsequently, the decliners outnumbered the advancers. On the other hand, the spread between the advancers and decliners stocks ranged from 09.90% to 04.42%. For its part, the Saudi Parallel Equity Market Index (NOMU) ended the day higher, gaining 94.90 points to close, at 25,234.49 points, with a valuation of SR38 million and an overall tally of 285,000 stocks traded and divided into as many as 829 deals.
