The Saudi Stock Exchange's main index ended trading lower here today, losing 29.42 points to close at 8,901.87 points. Total value of the trading reported was SR7.3 billion, while the toll of shares traded was more than 225 million, divided into over 300,000 deals. While the stocks of 736 companies ended the trading higher, 101 companies' shares slumped. Subsequently, the decliners outnumbered the advancers. On the other hand, the spread between the advancers and decliners stocks ranged from 09.90% to 03.08%. For its part, the Saudi Parallel Equity Market Index (NOMU) or the secondary market, ended the day higher, gaining 210.66 points to close at 25,949.96 points, with a valuation of SR43 million and an overall tally of 235,000 stocks traded and divided into as many as 1,194 deals.
