Saudi Stock Exchange Main Index Ends Trading Higher, at 8869.47 Points

The Saudi Stock Exchange's main index ended trading higher here today, gaining 52.42 points to close, at 8869.47 points.
Total value of the trading reported was 9 billion, while the toll of shares traded was more than 301 million, divided into over 394,000 deals.
While the stocks of 119 companies ended the trading higher, 71 companies' shares slumped.
On the other hand, the spread between the advancers and decliners stocks ranged from 9.99% to 3.58%.
Subsequently, the advancers outnumbered the decliners.
For its part, the Saudi Parallel Equity Market Index (NOMU) ended the day gaining 135.01 points, to close, at 24,877.77 points, with a valuation of SR56 million and an overall tally of more than 406,000 stocks traded and divided into as many as 1,308 deals.
