Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh and Okaz newspapers in their editorials on the US embassy and Killing Palestinians wrote that dozens of martyrs and thousands of the wounded were killed in the confrontations against the transfer of the American Embassy to occupied Jerusalem (AlQuds) yesterday. The papers noted that the Arab summit called by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as AlQuds Summit emphasized the centrality of the Palestinian cause to the entire Arab world, the Arab identity of occupied East Jerusalem (Al-Quds) as the capital of the State of Palestine and the American decision to recognize Jerusalem (Al-Quds) as the capital of Israel is null and illegitimate.
