Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh, Al-Youm, Al-Sharq and Okaz newspapers commented on 37th Summit of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States concluded in Bahrain yesterday, saying that th peoples of the region as stated in the speech of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud are looking forward to creating a better future in which Arab Gulf peoples enjoy prosperity and stability and that will be achieved through enhancing the march of the Gulf Cooperation Council at regional and international arenas and moving from the stage of cooperation to the union stage for the progress of the region, its renaissance, the support for regional and international peace and the achievement of major economic objectives aspired by the GCC leaders. The papers quoted the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques as saying that the region is going through extremely complicated circumstances and facing crises requiring that all of us work together to confront and deal with them in a spirit of responsibility and determination and intensify efforts to consolidate the foundations of security and stability of the region, as well as the development and prosperity for our countries and peoples.
