Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Okaz, Al-Sharq, Al-Riyadh and Al-Youm newspapers commented on the tour of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in four states of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States, saying that the Kingdom under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques confirms and strengthens its high position and status in its surroundings, and it will be the compass that leads the region for the future, maintains its capabilities, defends its existence and achieve safety and security for its peoples. The papers noted that the tour of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Gulf states comes to enhance and strengthen the concept of Gulf unity and solidarity and coordinate the trend of integration, and it comes at a time while the Arab region is witnessing events that threaten its security, stability, unity and national interests, stressing the importance of coordination and consultation among the GCC leaders to support the march of the Council.
