Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Except, Al-Riyadh newspaper, Al-Youm, Al-Sharq and Al-Jazirah newspapers commented editorially on the outcome of the GCC Summit, yesterday concluded in Riyadh. Al-Youm cast light on the contents of the speech delivered at the summit by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud the day before yesterday, saying that it dealt with a host of issues, crises and challenges engulfing the GCC countries region. The paper said the GCC leaders have, since the inception of their group, exerted strenuous efforts to defend their countries and provide a hand of cooperation to their Arab brethren to tackle their causes, led by the Palestinian issue as part of the concept that the GCC area is an integral part of the Arab area.
