The President of Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein met separately in Tokyo yesterday with Vice President of Japanese Kyodo News Agency Hashima Osaka and Vice President of Japanese JJ Press Agency Ashok Yama. During the two meetings, they discussed the terms of the news exchange agreement submitted by the Saudi Press Agency to the two agencies aiming at cooperation and exchange of news between " SPA " and the Japanese two agenies in political, economic, cultural, and sports news fields, the transmission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's activities to Japan, the transmission of Japan's activities to the Kingdom in light of the distinguished relations between the two countries at political, economic, historical arenas, information cooperation between them shall be equal to this relationship and embody its strength, and each agency shall be a source of audiovisual information of the State's in both of them. President Al-Hussein briefed the representatives of the Japanese two agencies on SPA activities locally and internationally, its future projects and the desired benefit of the agreement between SPA and the two agencies in the tranmission of Saudi and Japanese events to the world, especially as the Kingdom and Japan have political and economic influence in the world. The meetings were attended by Head of Information Section at the Saudi Embassy in Japan Abdullah Al-Hoshan.
