The President of Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein received at his office in Riyadh today the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Djibouti to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ziauddin Saeed Bamakhramah. During the meeting, they discussed cooperation in the news field. The Ambassador toured various departments of the agency and he was briefed on its multi-media activities and the mechanism of its works. He expressed in a statement his happiness to visit the Saudi Press Agency and what he has seen of the mechanism of the media works at various desks of the agency that keep pace with modern technological developments in the world, whether in the mechanisms of transmission or communication and taking advantage of social networks which have become the important means of the information exchange. The Djiboutian Ambassador said, "What has drawn my attention is that the Saudi Press Agency is the only news agency in the Arab world, which has established its website by itself; and these are great characteristics. This is normal that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has a news agency at this level, as the Kingdom is the Qiblah of the Two Holy Mosques, the cradle of Islam and an important country in the world and the region". He congratulated the Minister of Culture and Information and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Press Agency Dr Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja, the SPA President and its employees on this distinguished information edifice.
