Border Guards Foil Smuggling of Narcotic Substances, Weapons

Patrols of the border guard in Assir Region foiled attempts to smuggle a quantity of weapons and drugs in a number of centers in Dhahran Al-Janoub, Asir Region.
Colonel Abdullah Al-Homrani, Media Spokesman of the Border Guards in Assir Region, said that the patrols siezed 73kg of Hashish, 576kg of Qat, 22kg of drug substances, 11 Kalashnikov rifles, 1,162 bullets, 19 pistols and 1 Belgian rifle.
The spokesman added that the patrols arrested five smugglers in addition to 782 infiltrators.
