The patrols of Border Guards in Southern Dhahran Sector in Asir region foiled on Tuesday an attempt to smuggle a quantity of weapons and drugs. The Information Spokesman at the Command of the Border Guards in the region, Colonel Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Hamrani said the patrols of the Border Guards monitored a group of smugglers trying to enter illegally into Saudi territory and arrested them, noting that the patrols found in their possession 90 pistols, 10 rifles, and 50 rounds, in addition to 33 kilograms of hashish.
