Asir Border Guards Arrest Infiltrators, Aborts Smuggling

Asir Region Border Guard Patrols managed to thwart a number of trafficking incidents at the border sites they guard while carrying out their security tasks during the last quarter of the previous year 1433 AH.
Media spokesman at the Command of the Border Guards in Asir Region Colonel Abdullah bin Ahmed Alhamrani stated that the seizure included 22,386 rounds of various ammunition; 353 pieces of various weapons; 113 heads of livestock; 14 narcotic tablets; 1795 kg of Qat; 274 kg of Hashish, 162 kg Shamma, 30 smugglers, and 7,872 infiltrators and funds amounting to SR 115,140.
