Patrols of the Border Guard in Jazan Region foiled a number of smuggling attempts during the last three months. Col. Abdullah bin Mahfouz, Media Spokesman at the Border Guard of Jazan Region, said the force was successful to seize 3093 different ammunition rounds, 13 different weapons, one bomb, 141 bottles of wine, 993 kg of Hashish, 737 pills of Captagon, 236478 kg of Qat, 28543 infiltrators, 343 smugglers, 5291 kg of different foodstuffs, 3699 head of cattle and an amount SR 101,711.
