AlQa'dah 21, 1433, Oct 7, 2012, SPA -- Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja expressed pleasure at the success of the International Award of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for Translation in attracting major cultural and scientific institutions from all countries of the world. He added that these institutions have become keen on nomination of the finest translated works in order to win the award. He stressed that this success reflects the international community's appreciation of the initiatives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for dialogue among civilizations and establishing the values of peace and coexistence among nations and peoples, building bridges of human communication and knowledge and promoting cultural and scientific cooperation for the good of human kind. The minister made the remarks on the occasion of a ceremony honoring the winners of the award at its fifth session, which is held in Berlin. The minister highlighted the important roles of the award and translation in promoting dialogue between the Arab and Islamic civilization and other civilizations.
