AlQa'dah 13, 1432, Oct 11, 2011, SPA -- Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Award for Translation and Member of the Board of Directors of King Abdulaziz Public Library, handed over the Award to the winners in Beijing today. In a speech delivered during the Award Ceremony, Prince Abdulaziz confirmed the award's success at international level, through attracting major universities, scientific and academic institutions and best translators throughout the world. Prince Abdulaziz highlighted the award's importance in stimulating the movement of translation in addition to enhancing opportunities for cultural dialogue and rapprochement among cultures. Prince Abdulaziz also said "I am honored to convey the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud who deeply appreciates your role in enriching the movement of translation as well as the dialogue of cultures." He pointed out that the agreement establishing "King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Center for Dialogue Among Followers of Religions and Cultures" in Vienna will be signed on the sidelines of the Award Ceremony with the participation of the Republic of Austria and the Kingdom of Spain. On this occasion, Prince Abdulaziz conveyed the King's approval to establish a branch of King Abdulaziz Public Library at the University of Beijing in order to promote cultural and scientific exchange between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of China. --More
