DAMMAM — A man has died in an apartment building fire in Dammam. Twenty Civil Defense teams rescued seven people but could not save the victim, who was trapped and died from smoke inhalation. Firefighters rushed to the location after the blaze started in the four-story building, which was also being used to store plastic materials. Civil Defense officers used ladders to rescue stranded victims from the roof of the building. Firefighters are still investigating the cause of the blaze.
