DAMMAM — Civil Defense teams in Dammam managed to rescue a mother and her two sons who were trapped in a fire that broke out in the children's room Wednesday morning. Eastern Province Civil Defense spokesman Col. Ali Saad Al-Qahtani said the fire broke out in an apartment on the third floor of a three-story building in the Abdullah Fuad district. The woman and her two children suffered from smoke inhalation. They were provided first aid and rushed to hospital. Investigations are under way to determine the causes of the blaze.
