RIYADH — The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) seized more than 10,000 kg of expired meat and grains from two warehouses, one in Dammam and the other in Jeddah. SFDA reported it found 3,000 kg of expired meat and 7,000 kg of expired lentils, chickpeas, cardamoms and other seasonings. The expired products were found in Dammam's Al-Khaldiyah District and in Jeddah's Al-Nakheel District. The report also clarified that these products were being sold with false expiration dates and those responsible would be prosecuted.
