RIYADH — The Saudi Food and Drugs Authority confiscated more than 1,000 spoilt dates and 20,000 expired food cans from warehouses in Jeddah and Dammam. The authority said the confiscated foods consisted of jam, barley juice, chicken soup, dry milk, sesame, rice, mayonnaise, tea, and other expired juices. The authority added that some of these products got spoiled due to the unsuitable temperatures they were stored in. The authority will prosecute the owners of these warehouses.
