RIYADH — The Saudi Food and Drugs Authority (SFDA) seized 45 tons of expired grain products and 14 tons of rotten fruit that were to be sold to juice stores. SFDA reports showed that 45,300 kg of wheat was stored incorrectly and in high humidity in a Dammam warehouse. The warehouse had stray cats roaming about and 14,100 kg of rotten oranges, lemons, mandarins, guavas, and persimmons that were being distributed to juice stores.
