164 illegal residents detained in EP raids

DAMMAM — Police in the Eastern Province city arrested 164 illegal expatriates within the last two days. Eastern Province Police spokesman Col. Ziyad Al-Ruqaiti said Dammam Police and a representative from the Eastern Province Ministry of Labor ran an inspection campaign to ensure all expatriates with residence and work visas were following labor laws. All 164 detainees were handed over to the concerned authorities for further action.
