JEDDAH — The historic district of Jeddah is hosting "Ramadan Season 2025" events. Organized by the Jeddah Historic Program of the Ministry of Culture; the festival aims to revive the cultural heritage and stregthen the national identity The season includes a range of activities that provide the opportunity to tour historic houses, heritage buildings, and traditional markets that reflect an atmosphere of the past by displaying local products and traditional foods. Specialized workshops are also available to teach traditional crafts such as Arabic calligraphy and pottery making, enhancing awareness of handicrafts and highlighting their cultural value. It offers interactive entertainment activities that aim to introduce new generations to Saudi culture and strengthen their bond to national heritage. Historical tours in old neighborhoods highlight the traditions of the holy month in an environment that reflects authenticity and spirituality. This comes within the efforts of the Historic Jeddah Program aimed at preserving the architectural and cultural heritage of the region. The program works to restore, rehabilitate and revive historical buildings while preserving their original identity. It also supports and empowers young talents by providing platforms to display and market their work, and involving them in cultural and artistic activities that highlight their potential.
