Zaman hammers 104 not out

AL-QASSIM — Noor Zaman blasted an unbeaten 104 runs in the AQCL MoneyGram Cricket Ke Badshah Tournament which is organized by Al-Qassim Cricket League (AQCL) under the auspices Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC) here recently.
Al-Douliya-XI defeated Janbaaz CC by 39 runs. Al-Douliya batted first and made 160-3 through Shafaqat 76 (6x1, 4x6) and Atique 30. Tasadduq claimed 2 wickets. Janbaaz CC, in reponse, was bowled out for 121. Faiyyaz made 50 with 11 fours. Shafaqat grabbed 3 wickets, while Ishfaq and Farzand took 2 each.
Shaheen-XI thrashed Choudhry-XI by 89 runs. Shaheen-XI, batting first, piled up 212-4. Noor Zaman hammered an unbeaten 104 in just 60 balls with 4 sixes and 9 fours, while Amir made 30. Rasheed took 2 wickets. Choudhry-XI, in reply, was bundled out for 123. Sajjad contributed 28 and Shoeb 25. Mushtaque was the wrecker-in-chief with 5-23. Sarwar took 2.
Pak-XI Unayzah ran over Pak Madinah by 9 wickets. Pak Madinah, batting first, managed 89 with Saud making 25. Waqar claimed 4-16 and Arshad took 3. Pak Unayzah won in 71 balls with Shabbir hitting an unbeaten 41.
Azad-XI defeated Yamco CC by 40 runs. Azad-XI amassed 228-7. Sajjad Iqbal hammered 79 with 4 sixes and 7 fours. Saed Nabi hit 33 and Irshad 22. Faheem grabbed 3 wickets and Saif 2. Yamco, in reply, was restricted to 188-6. Akram made 33 and Asif 29. Sajjad Iqbal captured 3 wickets and Iftikhar took 2.
Week 2 results:
Paradise-XI downed Al-Fateh-XI by 5 wickets. Al-Fateh-XI 125-8 (Faheem and Kashif 28 each; Noman 3 wickets, Imran and Farid 2 each). Paradise-XI 126-5 (Noman 32, Imran 28).
Sialkot Stallions defeated Janbaaz-XI by 4 runs. Sialkot Stallions 174-6 (Mudassir 44, Imran 43; Bilal 4-33). Janbaaz-XI 17-9 (Bilal 47, Nawaz 40; Mudassir 4-24, Mubashir 4-26).
Tiger-XI won against Azad-XI by 14 runs. Tiger-XI 169-9 (Jalal 38, Khokan 32; Sajjad Iqbal and Arab Hussain 2 wickets each). Azad-XI 155 (Arab Hussain 49, Sajjad Iqbal 23; Mujeeb 4-39, Rasal and Taroon 2 each).
Choudhry-XI got the better of Pak Madinah by 4 wickets. Pak Madinah 110 (Hassan 20; Amir 4-38, Noor 2). Choudhry-XI 111-6 (Rashid 40; Shameem 4-1). — SG
