RIYADH — Pak-XI Unaizah beat Sialkot Stallions Buraidah by one run in a thrilling Al-Qassim Zone final for the Alhamrani Fuchs Cup here recently. Put into bat, Pak-XI Unaizah was all out for 160. Khawar was the top-scorer with 42, Waqar added 38 and Imran 17. Ansar claimed 4 wickets, including a hat trick. In reply, Stallions was all out for 159. Initially Stallions looked like runaway winners, but the dismissal of Mudassir (80) pegged the team back and it eventually fell short by 1 run. Mubashir 22 and Asad 15 were the only other notable contributors. Imran bagged 4 wickets, while Aafaque, Waqar, Amir, Khawar and Mudassir grabbed one each. A prize distribution ceremony was held after the match. Imran was declared the Man-of-the-Final, Waqar Azam the Man-of-the-Tournament, Aafaque Masudi Best Bowler and Akram Best Batsman.
