MADINAH/TAIF — A Pakistani resident drowned in a swamp at a farm in Abyar Al-Mashi suburb of Madinah. Madinah Police spokesman Col. Fahad Al-Ghannam said that there was no indication of foul play. The body was taken to the mortuary. Meanwhile, a 9-year-old child drowned when he fell in Klaakh dam, south of Taif. Taif Civil Defense spokesman Col. Naser Al-Shareef said that his parents had already removed the child's body by the time Civil Defense teams had arrived. He added that no foul play is suspected.
