Sudanese drowns in desert stream

MADINAH — Civil Defense teams pulled out the body of a Sudanese national in his 20s from a stream in the mountainous Abu Rakah desert of Al-Ula governorate. Spokesman for Madinah Civil Defense Col. Khalid Al-Jehani said eyewitnesses reported a shepherd falling into the stream.
The Civil Defense pulled out the body from the eight-meter-deep waters. The body is kept in hospital mortuary pending completion of official procedures.
