MADINAH — A Nigerian resident was killed when he fell down an elevator shaft at a hotel in Madinah's central area. Madinah police spokesman Col. Fahd Al-Ghannam said the victim was 57 and that the hotel was being demolished to make way for the expansion of the Prophet's Mosque. The body was taken to the local mortuary while a forensics investigation was carried out.
