APF tops Zultec in Premier League

JEDDAH — APF defeated Zultec by 4 wickets in the Premier League of the Western Province Cricket Association (WPCA) Championship here.
Batting first, Zultec set a target of 259 runs in 35 overs through Mohammad Abdullah 88, Afaq 17, Akram 28 and Javed Iqbal 48. Babar took 3 wickets, while Farooq, Waqas and Adalat claimed one each.
In reply, APF opener Khurram Karamat played a fantastic innings of 135 in just 74 balls. Skipper Nadeem Amin made 30 in 16 balls with the help of 6 fours, while Usman scored 13 and Maqsood 28. Ihsan took 2-55, Khalid Iqbal 2-53, while Bilal and Afaq got one each.
In the Afternoon Level I match, AOT defeated Natcom by 66 runs. AOT scored 134 in 18 overs. Shahid 28 and Hisham 20 were the main contributors. M. Pasha took 3 wickets, While Iqbal and Waqas claimed 2 each and Jameel 1. Natcom was all out for 68 runs in 18.0 overs. Zakir Habib claimed 3-18, Rafiq 3-13, Waqas 2-21.
