RIYADH – Red-hot Andro Tismo burned the lanes to lift D'Pirates team to capture the Best Bowler and Team of the Week Awards in the 19th Week of the Itqan Bowlers Group (IBG) Friday Bowling League, 2nd Conference. The league is sponsored by Hala Int'l. Mabuhay Mobily in partnership with Globe. The league, which is organized by the IBG Advocates, is being held every Friday afternoon at the Universal Bowling Center (UBC). Bowler of the week Andro Tismo, with zero handicap, exploded a towering four-game series of 988. Tismo carded 256, 242, 234 and 256. His exemplary display helped D'Pirates bag the Team of the Week award by routing the fighting Roll and Bowl Keglers, 25-12. Others who sizzled in D'Pirates squad were Johnny Pencilla (910), Celis Viloria (842) and Bembol Velasco (807). Fareed Aquino and Dennis Gabriel also supported D'Pirates by contributing separate series of 371 and 337 in two games. D'Pirates still hold the number one position after the 19th week of action. At the helm in Roll and Bowl were Archie Oliva and Andy Carasig. Oliva and Carasig submitted separate series of 827 and 825, respectively. In another encoutner, the Pinbusters upset the favorite Air21, 23-15 with the help of Fathi Abdulaziz (858), Boy Mirando (83) and Marvin Arocena (822). Fhel Ramos and Hani Al-Nasleh added separate series of 795 and 746. Leading scorers in the Air21 were Ruel Toledo (852), Jove Marano (846) and Jerry Austria (756). Shawn Rickett had 608 points.
