Paciano and Itqan Tenpin Wizards sizzle

RIYADH — Jojo Paciano and the Itqan Tenpin Wizards burned the lanes to clinch the Best Bowler and Best Team of the Week awards, respectively, in the 13th Week of the keenly-contested Itqan Tenpin Bowlers (IBG) Friday Bowling League, 2nd Conference here recently.
The league is sponsored by Hala International, Mabuhay Mobily in partnership with Globe. IBG is organizing the league, which is being held at the Universal Bowling Center (UBC).
Experienced Paciano showed his bowling prowess by posting 915 series in four games. Paciano had on lines of 225, 206, 190 and a towering game high of 278. Paciano's awesome performances lifted Air21 over Roll and Bowl 20-13. Others to shine for Air21 were: Thong Asuncion (782), Leo Mabunga (776) and Ruel Toledo (704). Shawn Rickett added 574 in three games.
Veteran Andy Carasig hit 874 points to lead Roll and Bowl, while the durable Fred Dioquino posted 762. Ernie Tulang had 737 points, while Bobby Jamora and Archie Oliva contributed 722 and 721 series in four outings.
Itqan Tenpin Wizards, captained by Ric Singson, helped pulverize the Pinbusters 24-3 to claim the Team of the Week honor. The deadly duo of Ronald Cruz and Arnold Jesena sparked 866 and 862 series to top-score for Itqan Tenpin Wizards. Singson contributed 781 points while Nap Torres and Doy del Moral submitted series of 779 and 777.
Fathi Abdulaziz led the Pinbusters by posting 789 points. Following Fathi were Hani Al-Nasleh (745) and Fhel Ramos (713). Marvin Arocena chipped in with 697 points.
The Bankrun finally tasted victory against the SABB Strikers 20-2. At the helm for Bankrun was Angel Caasi with 826 points, followed by Daewood Sereno (784), Marco Torres (770), Jay Salandanan (710) and Rainier Torres (686).
The top scorer for SABB Strikers was Resty de Jesus, who carded a four-game series of 730 points. Following him were Noel Morales (711) and Mike Benito (645).
Other results: Itqan Tornado beat Xperts 19-10, Great Balls of Fire beat NBA 19-17, SACO beat Magnificent-5 17-6, D'Pirates beat Salyng Kits 17-16.
