Alif International School Riyadh celebrated the Saudi National Day on Sept. 25 in the school campus with all its colors and patriotic fervor. The day was marked with captivating cultural programs ranging from patriotic songs to folk dances of Saudi Arabia which displayed the proud history, tradition and culture of this great nation. "Saudi Arabia is one of the rarest countries in the world that cares for the peace and prosperity of the citizens of other nations along with its own citizens," Principal Mohammed Musthafa said in his keynote address in the celebration. The program was attended by the students and teachers of the school, wearing Saudi costumes and Saudi flags to mark the occasion. The program, which commenced with an invoking recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Sr. Khalid Al Seer the eminent lawyer and the president of Alif Group. Alikunhi Moulavi, chairman of the school, presided over the function and Lukman Pazhoor, executive director of the school, felicitated all in the program. Headmistress Daisamma Jacob welcomed the gathering and coordinator Hamida Banu marked the vote of thanks.
