Alif International School Riyadh celebrated ‘Good Bye Kindergarten' 16', with colorful programs. The graduation ceremony of the Upper Kindergarten batches was the key attraction of the program. Anil Nautiyal (First Secretary (CW), Embassy of India, Riyadh, inaugurated the function. In his speech, he urged the educational leaders to stress on the creative development of the students apart from the scholastic activities. He praised Alif school for paying importance to kindergarten section, the cradle of tomorrow's great achievers. School Principal K.C Muhammed Shaijal presided over the function. Dr. Khalid Al Zeer, leading lawyer and president of Alif Group, presented mementos to the guests and KG teachers. Alif Educational Trust Chairman Alikunhi Maulavi gave the blessing speech. Shihab Kottukad (renowned social worker & Norka Consultant), Trust Executive Director Luqman Pazhur, Shakeeb Kolakkad (media forum), Rasheed Qasimi (Gulf Thejas) gave felicitations. Academic Coordinator Aemon Faruque Khan inaugurated the Alif Expo - ‘Vision 2016'. School Headmistress Dr. Daisamma Jacob gave the welcome sppech and KG Coordinator Sonia Mustafa proposed the vote of thanks. Various arts and cultural programs were performed by the students as part of the celebration. The dance drama, ‘A tribute to Hanumanthappa', which payed homage to the great Indian soldier who sacrificed his life in the immensely frozen Siachin Heights last week, stole the hearts of the audience. Staff members including Abdul Aziz, Ashkar Usman, Baby Asoora, Shafiya Fathima, Nijitha P, Syda Fatima, Ayisha Banu, Jumaila Yusuf Usman, Riyas, Basheer and Midlaj gave the leadership for the program. — SG
