Six Saudi female students of King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah are ranked first for their medical research in the 7th Emirates Critical Care Conference (ECCC) which was held in conjunction with the 3rd Asia Africa Conference of the World Federation of Societies of Intensive and Critical Care Medicine (WFSICCM) and the 7th International Pan Arab Critical Care Medicine Society (IPACCMS) congress in UAE. The winning research is titled “the contamination of keyboards and mouses in Jeddah intensive care units”. The researchers were Amna Yamani, Hind Husawy, Kawthar Baqtada, Lojain Al Gharwy, Najlaa Shokry and Wafa' Al Anzy from the Medical Labs Technology Department, Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, King Abdulaziz University. Dr. Hussein Nassar Al Rahma (the Conference President) assured that the results of these winning researches would be published in the periodic Medical Magazine issued by Federation of Critical Medicine and Intensive Care Societies (FEPIMCTI). The competition included 50 scientific researches of 15 countries.
