The 11th Jeddah Economic Forum (JEF) started its works this morning with the participation of Turky's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prince Turki Al-Faisal.The event, organized by the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) is entitled 'A 21st Century Transformation: the impact of Global Forces'. The JEF sessions that include 12 scientific sessions are being held from Sunday through Tuesday at Jeddah's Hilton. The Forum's sessions would focus on what countries and companies will face in the next decade of global economic forces that have fundamentally changed the business sector. The second session witnessed an address by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who spoke on 'The Great Transformation: Learning from the best economic transformations in the world.' The session was also attended by Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry Saleh Bin Abdullah Kamel, who is also President of Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Forum's third session was attended by Prince Turki Al-Faisal Ibn Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of King Faisal Institute for Islamic Studies.
