Saudi Arabia's permanent representative to UNESCO Dr. Ziad Al-Darees considered the golden medal awarded today by UNESCO to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud an international recognition of the continuous noble efforts he was exerting for spreading the spirit of tolerance, co-existence and dialogue among rival individuals and societies and for his contributions to establish local, regional and international forums and dialogue centers attracting representatives of different religions and cultures in the world. Al-Darees suggested that the honor granted by this renowned and prestigious organization is an honor for the Kingdom's people and a confirmation of the message of Islam which always calls for living in peace, dialogue and co-existence among all people of the world.
