Japan Stocks Edge Up

Japanese shares inched higher Wednesday after a weak start as investors picked up cheap stocks in some carmakers.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average gained 7.28 points, or 0.08
per cent, to end at 8,809.79 while the broader Topix index was up 2.69 points, or 0.36 per cent, at 757.96, according to a report of DPA.
