Japanese shares soared nearly 2 per cent Tuesday for the first rise in three trading days as investors picked up bargains after recent losses and export-oriented issues were bolstered by a weaker yen. The benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average gained 188.76 points, or 1.99 per cent, to close at 9,693.73. The broader-based Topix index was up 14.8 points, or 1.8 per cent, at 838.46, according to a report of the German Press Agency "DPA"
